What does the Transvolando national transportation service include?
Transvolando offers national land transportation of goods throughout Spain. Our service includes options for general cargo, urgent and specialized transportation, such as machinery or events. We use vehicles adapted to the needs of each type of cargo.
Can you manage transportation with multiple pickups or deliveries (multi-stop) on the same route?
Yes. We coordinate routes with several stops (pick-ups and/or deliveries), optimizing the order and schedules to reduce incidents and maintain control of the service.
How can I calculate shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated based on several factors such as the type of cargo, volume, weight, distance and urgency of the service. We offer different package options: Basic, Standard and Premium.
Do you work with companies with high volume of shipments and need for recurring service?
Yes. We can coordinate recurring operations (weekly/daily shipments) and adapt management so that you have more control, forecasting and less internal burden.
What type of trucks does Transvolando use?
Transvolando offers the following vehicles:
Rigid Truck: Up to 16,000 kg, with or without lifting platform. Complete Trailer: Articulated trucks, including tauliners, open platforms and refrigerated trucks for specialized transport. Machinery: Gondolas and modular trucks for heavy and oversized loads. Groupage: Tauliner or rigid trucks to group more merchandise and share space with other clients. Vans or rigid trucks of 3000 to 7000 kg are also offered for urgent shipments of smaller volumes.
What is the difference between a tauliner and an open platform?
A tauliner truck has flexible sides for quick side loading and unloading, ideal for palletized goods. In contrast, open bed trucks do not have side walls, making them ideal for large loads that do not require side protection, such as machinery or bulky materials.
How do I know where my shipment is?
Transvolando guarantees security in all its shipments through strict control protocols and advanced technology. Additionally, all shipments include insurance coverage according to CMR regulations. We also offer optional extensions.
What security measures apply in transportation?
European trucks usually have a maximum length of 16.5 meters, while American trucks can reach up to 25.25 meters (mega trucks). In addition, European trucks are designed to meet stricter emissions and dimension regulations, while American trucks have greater loading capacity.
Do you offer one-off services or long-term contracts?
We offer both one-off services and long-term contracts, depending on what your company needs. Whether you need a one-time shipment or regular transportation, we have options to fit your requirements.
