What types of pallets are there?
- Wooden. These are the most common.
- Plastic. The most hygienic, perfect for food.
- Cardboard. Single-use, very hygienic and perfect for the food industry.
- Metal (steel). Stronger and more durable. Its long service life compensates for its high price.
What are the standard dimensions of a pallet?
European pallet or europallet: 1,200 x 800 mm. It is the most widely used on the European continent as it is adapted to the dimensions of trailer interiors (2,400 mm).
Universal pallet or American pallet: 1,200 x 1,000 mm. It is the most widely used in the American and Japanese markets. Widely used for the transport of liquid goods.

Pallets are considered to be highly resistant structures, which can be defined by three types:

International pallet transportation is very common as it has many advantages:
